R&S NGU Series

Source Measure Units (SMUs) are high-precision power supplies that offer the functionality of a universal laboratory power supply, as well as the following features:

  • Linear two- or four-quadrant architecture with source and sink operation
  • Fast output voltage regulation combined with very low ripple and extremely low noise
  • QuickArb function for programming very short voltage drops
  • Current resolution of up to 100 pA for cellular and wireless applications
  • Fast logging mode for capturing voltage/current fluctuations with a resolution of up to 2 μs
  • Analogue interface, variable output impedance, constant resistance mode, and digital voltmeter functionality, depending on the source measure unit.
