With the brand-new R&S MXO 5C, Rohde & Schwarz is further expanding its next-generation oscilloscope series. As the manufacturer's first eight-channel oscilloscope, the R&S MXO 5C follows on from the successful R&S MXO 4, which impressed with a number of industry firsts when it was launched in 2022. Development engineers can now meet even higher design requirements with the R&S MXO 5C.
Unlike its sister model, the R&S MXO 5, the R&S MXO 5C does not have its own screen, opening up new possibilities for the user; it can be easily mounted in a 19' rack and used with a screen of any size. This frees up space on the bench and is ideal when several people need to view the measurement results.
The R&S MXO 5C series includes four-channel models with bandwidths of 350 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz and 2 GHz and eight-channel models with bandwidths of 100 MHz, 200 MHz, 350 MHz, 500 MHz, 1 GHz and 2 GHz.
Thanks to 12-bit A/D converters, the R&S MXO 5C series delivers 16 times the resolution of conventional 8-bit oscilloscopes and enables highly accurate measurements even at the highest sampling rates. With an acquisition memory of 500 Mpts per channel simultaneously for all four channels, the oscilloscope offers up to 100 times the memory depth of comparable devices as standard.
The R&S MXO 5C oscilloscopes offer the world's highest update rate of 4.5 million waveforms per second. This gives them a more comprehensive representation of signal behaviour than any other oscilloscope on the market.
Use model as bench scope
Use your MXO 5C series oscilloscope for stacking in order to have more space in your lab
Use your MXO 5C series oscilloscope with only 2U height for your rackmount application with limited space
Take advantage of the R&S MXO 5C series oscilloscope and its remote access capability. View the display on a PC or mobile device with the same user interface as the oscilloscope and control your measurements from anywhere.
