The new Workswell MEDICAS system was developed especially for the COVID-19 pandemic and allows automated thermal real-time screening for increased body temperature. The system simultaneously detects and automatically analyzes people and groups of people passing within a range of up to 12 meters. If persons with increased body temperature are detected, a visual and/or acoustic alarm can be issued.

The MEDICAS system combines a full HD camera with a high-resolution thermal imaging camera, a built-in PC and an awesome analysis software in one compact device. The high accuracy and measurement stability required for detection is achieved with continuous real-time calibration using a supplied blackbody radiation source.

MEDICAS thus represents the ideal solution for the automatic monitoring of e.g. entrance areas in companies, hospitals, medical practices and pharmacies.
