The Acute DS-1102 is a PC based dual channel oscilloscope. The device features a bandwidth of 200 MHz and a sampling rate of 200 MSa/s.
The DS-1102 is a full-fledged compact oscilloscope. It is controlled via a PC which also displays the measurement signals. The oscilloscope is connected to a PC directly via a USB connection.

Automatic Measurements
Various measurement values can be determine easily in realtime and displayed. Both cursor measurements and direct measurement with corresponding displays are available.
Possible measurements include frequency, period, max., min., high, and low voltages, Vpp, amplitude, Vrms, average voltage, as well as duty cycles and pulse widths for positive and negative signals.

Mathematical Functions
The two channels can be linked through a variety of mathematical functions.
These channels can be added, subtracted, multiplied, and divided.

FFT (Fast Fourier Transformation)
The Acute software can use “Fast Fourier Transformation” to analyze the frequency components of the measurement signal and display them graphically. That makes this device the ideal choice for analyzing noise components in DC supplies and other harmonic components.
Supported scales: Linear RMS, dbV RMS, dBm RMS
Supported windows: Rectangle, Blackman, Hanning, Hamming, Harris, Triangular, Cosine, Lanczos and Gauss

Extended Configuration
The display and the device measurement behavior can be controlled through the extended configuration. As an example, the channel colors and the print settings can be changed. It is even possible to give the channels individual names which are then shown on screen so that it is really easy to relate the trace to the measurement signal.

Comprehensive Exporting Options
The recorded signal history can be exported to a large variety of file formats. This is especially useful for preparing reports, but the data can also be transferred as is for analysis in other programs. All settings can be saved in this manner as well.
Available formats: Hardcopy (direct printout), Word, Excel, CSV, Text, HTML and Screenshot in the intermediate clipboard.

Alarm Function for Triggering
The Acute DS-1000 can execute a program of choice for the first or every occurrence of a trigger event. This function is particularly useful for long term monitoring, where, as an example, a correctly set trigger could be used to detect faults and react accordingly.
The Acute logic analyzer software can also be used to control the DS-1000 series USB oscilloscopes from Acute. With the aid of an oscilloscope and logic analyzer, combined measurements can be taken and displayed together:
