With the 7055-D, Intona offers the world's first complete solution for isolating USB 2.0 and 3.0 with isolation up to 5 kV RMS.
Intona's new 7055 series USB isolators transmit USB data while providing full galvanic isolation of both the data and the power lines. All three models support USB 2.0 Hi-Speed (480 MBit/s), the two models 7055-C and 7055-D also support USB 3.0 SuperSpeed (5 GBit/s). Alternatively available USB isolation products are limited to Full Speed (12 MBit/s) and Low Speed (1.5 MBit/s).
This product is an ideal solution to break ground loops, avoid noise coupling and protect ports from power surges and voltage spikes in applications which require high speed USB transfers.

Input for external power supply
The isolated side can be supplied with an external power source via micro USB. This allows particularly power-hungry devices to be operated in isolation. Switching between internal and external supply is automatic.
