The SDG8000A series comprises two high-performance function and arbitrary waveform generators for demanding applications in development, validation and production. With up to 4 analog outputs, 16-bit vertical resolution, a maximum sampling rate of 12 GSa/s, and an output frequency of up to 5 GHz, these devices deliver signals with impressive precision and flexibility. Thanks to a memory of up to 4 GSample per channel, the SDG8000A series enables particularly long signal playback and complex test sequences without interruption. In combination with SigIQPro, communication signals such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and LTE can also be conveniently generated — ideal for modern RF and wireless applications.
The innovative TrueArb and EasyPulse technologies overcome the typical weaknesses of classic DDS systems when generating arbitrary and pulse signals.
This results in signal generation with high accuracy, low jitter and excellent quality. The SDG8000A series supports the output of both high-speed serial code signals and complex, multi-level serial waveforms. It has functions such as double pulse, multitone and linear frequency modulation (chirp), covering a wide range of test requirements.
