The LBE-1321 is a compact fast-risetime pulse generator designed to produce extremely short rise and fall times. It was developed for measurement and test environments where signals with very fast edges are required for instrument characterization, bandwidth testing, or time-domain reflectometry (TDR).
The device generates a precise square-wave output signal with a variable frequency from 30 kHz to 300 MHz, 50% duty cycle, and 1 Hz resolution, featuring a typical rise and fall time of 30 ps ± 2 ps.
The signal edges are designed to contain a wide spectrum of harmonic components extending into the range of several tens of GHz, making the unit ideal for high-speed digital and RF test applications.
Current software and firmware updates can be found on the manufacturer's website Leo Bodnar Electronics.
