The output frequency range of the Siglent SSG6082A-V vector signal generator extends from:
- 9 kHz to 8 GHz (CW mode)
- 10 MHz to 8 GHz (IQ mode)
The device offers analogue AM/FM/PM modulation, pulse modulation and pulse sequence generator, power meter control and other functions. It has an internal IQ baseband source with a bandwidth of 500 MHz, which, in combination with the SigIQPro PC software, can generate common digitally modulated signals and communication protocol signals such as 5G NR, WLAN, LTE, BLUETOOTH and IOT. The device is designed for communications, aerospace, national defence and other sectors. It is suitable for various application scenarios such as R&D and production.

Wider modulation bandwidth and superior signal quality
With increasing data rates, broadband communication technologies are becoming increasingly important. The SSG6082A-V offers a modulation bandwidth of up to 1 GHz and excellent in-band performance thanks to precise factory calibration, making it suitable for a wide range of communication test scenarios. The SSG6000A-V series is characterised by extremely low phase noise, achieving -132 dBc/Hz at a 10 kHz offset for a 1 GHz signal. Higher spectral purity reduces measurement errors and improves the accuracy and reliability of test results. In wireless communication, signals with low phase noise help to minimise the bit error rate (BER) and thus increase the stability and reliability of the transmission.
Extended frequency and power range
With a maximum frequency of 8 GHz and a maximum output level of 30 dBm for CW signals, the new generator serves both as a high-precision RF source and as a carrier for modulated signals. Its wide frequency and power range fulfils the demanding test requirements of many modern communication systems.
Vector Compensation
Supports user vector compensation using S-parameters for amplitude frequency response and phase compensation.

The planned upgrade of SigIQPro will extend the functionality and enable the generation of LTE FDD/TDD, 5G NR and additional WLAN signals. These additions will extend the existing functionality, which already includes Bluetooth, IoT, custom IQ and OFDM signal types
