HIKMICRO FP21 Thermal Imaging Camera – compact, rugged thermal imaging camera for firefighting, rescue, and search operations. 256 × 192 (49,152 pixels), < 30 mK, 25 Hz, temperature measurement up to 550 °C, 3.2-inch display, IP67 rating, and ATEX/IECEx certification.
The camera is focus free and offers a wide field of view of 50.0° × 37.2°. This makes it particularly well-suited for quickly assessing situations in rooms, buildings, and areas with limited visibility.
The FP21 combines a pocket-sized design with high durability. The housing is made of highly impact-resistant PPSU plastic and is completely dust-tight. The camera can be operated in water up to one meter deep for a limited time and is designed for demanding temperature conditions.
With measurement points for the center, hot spot, and cold spot, critical temperature areas can be quickly assessed. The internal 4-GB memory can store approximately 8,400 images or about 26.5 hours of video. Recordings are saved in MP4 format and can be transferred via USB-C.

FP Series is designed not only for firefighting, but also for industrial inspection, pipeline leak detection, forest fire prevention, and night search and rescue. With reliable thermal performance across diverse environments, it supports users in identifying heat sources, anomalies, and hidden risks wherever visibility is limited.
Team communication
FP Series can be connected to the HIKMICRO Viewer app, enabling real-time image sharing and communication between firefighters on site and team members outside the scene. By viewing thermal images remotely and exchanging information instantly, teams can improve coordination, support faster decision-making, and maintain better situational awareness during operations.
SuperIR
HIKMICRO’s SuperIR technology uses a neural network trained on a large thermal image dataset to enhance image clarity in real time. It improves detail recognition in complex fire scenes while maintaining smooth performance, helping users identify critical targets more reliably.
Automatic Gain Control (AGC)
Automatic AGC dynamically adjusts image contrast based on the scene’s temperature distribution. By expanding contrast in areas with subtle temperature differences, it makes hidden structures and thermal details easier to distinguish.
8 colour palettes for every application scenario
FP Series offers eight color palettes to adapt thermal visualization to different scenarios and user preferences. This flexibility supports clearer interpretation and reduces visual fatigue during extended use.
Hazardous-Location Certified and Rugged
Hazardous-location certified for use in potentially explosive environments, the FP Series also features IP67-rated dust and water protection and is engineered to operate under extreme heat. Even in conditions where many devices degrade or shut down, the FP Series continues to perform reliably.
Laser Pointer & Distance Meter (FP31 Exclusive)
FP31 integrates a visible laser pointer for intuitive target marking and a laser distance meter for on-screen distance measurement. These tools support clearer communication and coordination during rescue, inspection, and command operations.
