HAKKO FX-971 Set Soldering Station

Description

The FX-971 is the latest bench top soldering station from Hakko. Minimizing footprint to give you more bench top workspace, this 100 W station brings the power to both a standard and micro handpiece. Able to provide a 15-degree angle tilt, wider temperature setting, a new holder for tip removal and storage, and works with the new Hakko Control Software. A unique feature is the easy-to-read display, which can be swivelled with the station and provides the user with all relevant process information. To meet energy saving requirements, the soldering station is equipped with an adjustable auto-sleep function and an automatic switch-off after a preset time. These features also extend the life of the soldering tips. The requirements for N2 shielding gas soldering are also largely covered by this range. Software Integration

The HAKKO FX-971 features the HAKKO Control Software, which allows for direct temperature operation, setting presets and parameters, displays real time tip temperature and the ability to record tip temperatures, user profiles and auto-cal measurements.

Test criterion: The time until the solder joint on the workpiece reaches 200 °C is measured for 10 points.

Upgraded Iron Holder

The FH-215 is a newly designed holder that now features an integrated brass wire receptacle, sponge holder, safety tip removers, additional tip slots with no sleep cable required.

Longer Tip life

Tip life increases exponentially by using a lower tempearture for a shorter time, as shown in the graph. HAKKO tips last longer than other brands thanks to the intelligent heating hystem and the sleep & hibernation functions.
