Description

The Siglent SDS1000X is a very high quality two channel digital storage oscilloscope. It features a real-time sample rate of up to 1 GSa/s and a bandwidth of 200 MHz along with a standard record length of 14 Mpts.

The SDS1000X Series Oscilloscopes use a new generation of advanced SPO technology for an excellent signal fidelity and very low background noise. It has a minimum vertical input range starting from 500 µV/div and an innovative trigger system with high sensitivity and low jitter.

This high performance standard not only ensures capturing real-time instantaneous signals, but also observes details of repeated signals. The SDS1000X has a refresh rate of up to 60.000 wfms/s, enabling users to capture instantaneous signals, as well as abnormal signals more quickly. It also helps to enhance the waveform capturing ability and to expedite a circuit debug course.

The particularly large TFT color displays are very easy to read. Thanks to an intelligent system for displaying or masking information, the largest possible area is always available for displaying signals. The signal curves, the FFT display, and other functions can be shown simultaneously on the display.

Special Features

Signal Decoder Option (software option, not included)

With the signal decoder and trigger option serial protocols events can be easily isolated and analysed. The decoded details are shown directly on the waveform with an intuitive, color coded overlay.

Logic Analyzer Function (software option & hardware module, "+" version only)

The combination of the LA software option (SDS-1000X-LA) and the Logic Analyser hardware module (SPL1016) adds an additional 16 bit logic analyser to the SDS1000X+ series devices.

Built-in Arbitrary Waveform Generator ("+" version only)

The SDS1000X+ devices have a built-in 1 channel arbitrary waveform generator with a max. frequency of 25 MHz (sine), a sample rate of 125 MSa/s and a vertical resolution of 14 bit. It supports standard output functions like sine, square/pulse, ramp, noise, cardiac, gaus pulse and exponential functions and arbitrary waveforms with a max length of 16 kpts.

Deep Memory (14 Mpts)

The Siglent SDS1000X oscilloscopes can store up to 14 million measurement points. You can zoom into a selected part of the captured waveforms to get more details and scroll within the measurement points. The 1 GSa/S, 14 Mpts architecture provides the ability to capture a fast transient or a long acquisition.

Innovative SPO technology

With the "Super-Phosphor" Oscilloscope (SPO) and its multi-level intensity grading display, extensive signal characteristics with a very large number of measurement values can also be displayed completely. A color display option changes the intensity grading into a color temperature display. The more often a waveform appears, the warmer the color is.

Digital Trigger Function

Base on hardware technology, SDS1000X series realized digital trigger system with its high triggering sensitivity, low trigger jitter, and supports smart trigger function, such as HDTV video trigger, serial trigger function, window, interval, runt, dropout and pattern trigger.

The SDS1000X series supports several math operations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division), FFT (Fourier transform) operation and math function operation (differential, integral, square root).

Masked Pass/Fail-Tests

One way to verify a waveform's compliance to a particular set of parameters is to use pass/fail testing. A pass/fail defines a region of the oscilloscope's display in which the waveform must remain in order to comply with chosen parameters. Compliance to the mask is verified point-by-point across the display. Features: User defined masks, Pass/Fail counts, Stop on Fail, Fail Alarm

Auto measurements with statistics

The oscilloscope measures up to five parameters like rise- and fall-time, amplitude, pulse width, duty cycle and many more simultaneously and shows statistics for every parameter (current, mean, min, max and other values).
