DS4000 Oscilloscopes by Rigol
The Rigol DS4000 series consists of 8 high level Oscilloscopes for professional operation, which come off very well compared to higher prices models of other brands.
All models of the DS4000 provide a sample rate of 4 GSa/s, 140 Mpts memory(!), a 9” (22,9 cm) TFT-color display, as well as professional measurement and mathematical functions.
The economic models DS4014E and DS4024E provide a sample rate of 2 GSa/s (per channel) and 14 Mpts memory (per channel).
The devices are available with 2 and 4 built-in channels and have 4 bandwidth variants each (100, 200, 350 and 500 MHz). Rigol alternatively offers the MSO4000 series with an additional built-in 16 channel logic analyzer.
Attention: All DS/MSO4000 are equipped with a new fan which is much more quiet than before!
Extendibility
The DS4000(E) Oscilloscopes can be upgraded with decoding functions (RS232, I²C, SPI, CAN, FlexRay) and advanced trigger options (Windows, Nth Edge, Video / HDTV, Delay, TimeOut, Duration und USB) by entering a serial code.
Bandwidth Upgrades
Rigol offers three upgrade options for both, DS models (Digital Storage Oscilloscopes) and MSO models (Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes) of the 4000 Series. It is mandatory that the latest Firmware is installed.
The following three upgrades are available:
- BW2T3-MSO/DS4000 Bandwidth Upgrade from 200 MHz to 350 MHz for models MSO/DS402x (2/4 channel)
- BW2T5-MSO/DS4000 Bandwidth Upgrade from 200 MHz to 500 MHz for models MSO/DS402x (2/4 channel)
- BW3T5-MSO/DS4000 Bandwidth Upgrade from 350 MHz to 500 MHz for models MSO/DS403x (2/4 channel)
These are not available for the DS4000E Series.
